My Etsy Wishlist

If you haven’t heard, Etsy is going through some drama which may hurt some of their sellers. They decided to raise their shipping and sales fees that they charge the shops. Etsy makes their money by taking a percentage of the sales which was 3.5% but as of July 16 will be 5% and they are making sellers pay 5% for shipping which means that 10% of the sale now goes to Etsy which is great for stocks and the company but sucks for sellers. So, I plan on making all of my purchases before July 16 so I know that the money I spend goes to the amazing people that make the products. Here are the stores I love and the items I currently have in my wishlist.

Zombie Peepshow by Kayla Stojek

I have been wanting a pair of custom shoes from this shop for quite a long time. The only reason I haven’t is the price but I would never expect the prices to be lower because each pair is an amazing work of art that is well worth the money which varies depending on how much work went into each pair but starts around $100 and can go up to over $500. There are a ton of options to choose from and you also have the option to request a custom pair made just for you. Even if you aren’t interested in purchasing anything, you should definitely scroll through the shop and look at the incredible works of art.

Just Normie Things

I am a huge fan of vintage clothing but it can be excruciatingly difficult to find plus size items that don’t look like an old cat lady wore them. Just Normie Things does the hard work for you and they are priced really well. I am personally in love with this two piece set that is conveniently in my size.

Scared Tooth

Scared Tooth is a seller that I have talked about before and have featured their jewelry in a few OOTW posts. I love oddities and taxidermy so being able to wear a tooth or skull is just amazing to me. Everything is coated in a very thin layer of resin so you can feel the shape and texture of the bone but it will last a very long time. I currently only own necklaces but I saw that crown tooth rings and opossum tooth hair clips were added to the shop and I am obsessed with them. Now I just need them to make bracelets and I will be set.

Hecate’s Moonlight

I love art made from found objects and nature, the transformation of what seems like random things into something beautiful is something that I wish I could do and I admire anyone that can. Hecate’s Moonlight is a shop that sells made to order wall art that is all made from beautiful stones, twigs, vintage frames and painted wood. Like the way that hand dyeing creates unique pieces, using found objects and nature means that each plaque from Hecate’s Moonlight is unique. I personally like this design “Realm of Hades” (on the right) which has lots of beautiful obsidian.

ArtemMortis

Of course I had to include another oddities shop that has a ton of beautifully displayed taxidermy animals and skeletons their shop also specializes in the occult if you are interested in Baphomet, runes or tarot cards. I have a bit of a thing for bats and finding their variety of hanging bats in domes made me so excited I need one right now. I do wonder how they ship them without any damage but I have only seen good reviews and have not heard about anything being harmed in transit which is impressive. I can’t wait to order a new baby for my living room.

Weird Sculpture

Who wouldn’t want a pair of ear earrings or a finger necklace or a ring with a penis on it? Weird Sculpture is exactly what is sounds like, small wearable sculptures that are just plain weird. Which is why it is perfect for me. I want pretty much everything in the shop but I think I should limit myself to just a couple of things for now. I love how realistic all of the sculpted elements are which makes it all that much more creepy and I can already see myself wearing the amazing tooth headpiece.

Please go check out all of these shops, they are some of my favorites.

Thank you so much for reading.

See you Tuesday
