Obsessions of the Month: May

May has been a great month. Work is finally going relatively smoothly, I got to see my family and I am getting back on track with eating healthier. Those winter blues are gone and apart from a few small instances I haven’t had any problems with anxiety. Here are a few of the things I have loved this month:

Scrunchies- Urban Outfitters

I constantly have my hair in a ponytail or bun and every time that I take out my hair tie a bunch of hairs are pulled out. I never want to have to deal with hair loss so I decided to try scrunchies, the added soft fabric helps to prevent pulling. I am in love. Find them here.

Moon Cheese

The Ketogenic diet doesn’t leave many options for quick and easy snacking but I found moon cheese at my local grocery store, now I buy a bag literally every time I get groceries. The only ingredient is cheese, no preservatives or flavoring, and the dehydrating process leaves the cheese super crunchy. The taste and texture of the cheddar ones is similar to Cheez-Its. If you are on any kind of low carb or low sugar diet I highly recommend these. Find them in store or online here.

Steve Madden Furry Slides

I have given in to the weird/designer slides trend with these multicolored furry slides by Steve Madden. They aren’t as ridiculously priced as Gucci but they are way more comfortable since the band over the toes is made of fabric rather than plastic so you won’t get blisters. I wear these when I am in a hurry to get somewhere or I am too lazy to plan an outfit and shoes to go with it. Get yours here.

Under Armour Men’s Underwear

Spring and summer are the seasons of skirts and chafing so to make myself more comfortable I bought a 2-pack of these 9 inch Boxerjock underwear. I know this isn’t a unique idea but I love these. The length is perfect for above the knee or longer but not mini. Get yours here.

Deadpool 2

Earlier this week I went to see Deadpool 2 and it was amazing. I don’t want to spoil anything but it does have a lot more serious moments than you would think, I’m pretty sure I cried at one scene, but the movie has all of the traditional Deadpool humor and sass that we all want. I laughed, I cried, I learned about family, it was great.

Let me know what you have been obsessed with this month and which of these things you love the most in the comments. If you are in the US enjoy the holiday weekend, if not, enjoy your normal weekend.

Thank you so much for reading.

See you Tuesday
