March has been a month of gross weather, flu and lots of work. I have the feeling that most of my favorites this month will be things used for a nice day spent on the couch. Hopefully soon I won’t be so lazy and will be up and about more so I can share more places and experiences with you guys rather than just products I like. But for now here are five things I have enjoyed this month.
Tokyo Treat Box
This month I received my first Tokyo Treat box and I’m already in love. I like subscription boxes and being able to try new things this combined with my love of all things Japan from fashion to technology to food makes this box perfect for me. They have savory and sweet snacks and the premium box has an additional sharable treat, anime inspired snack and a beverage. As with everything you may get items you aren’t a fan of or sound weird but trying new things is part of the fun.

Death and the Afterlife by Clifford A. Pickover
When I was a teenager trying to figure out what I want to do with my life I was very interested in anthropology and growing up in a household with a catholic mother and atheist father made me very interested in both religions and science so the idea behind this book is something that I have been looking for and researching on my own for a long time. Having a collection of beliefs about what happens when you die, execution methods, types of death, and so many more topics is amazing and perfect for my book collection.

I Love Juicy Shampoo by Lush
I always use the veganese conditioner but never liked how my shampoos worked and smelled with it until I tried this one. The scents work well together and the formula keeps my hair clean all week without needing an extra wash or weighing it down. I love looking at the ingredients, knowing what everything is and knowing that it is good for my body.
RuPaul’s Drag Race
Who doesn’t love drag queens? I usually stay away from reality shows but between the drama, humor, and art I can’t resist. Some of them are just so beautiful that I can’t help but compare myself to them then you see them without makeup and remember that they are in fact men. I think this season I like Eureka and Dusty Ray Bottoms because I’m a sucker for curvy queens and punk girls.
Who are you hoping makes it to the finale?
Twisted Mango Diet Coke
When carbs are the enemy diet sodas sound like a great idea but usually taste horrible. When I saw the new flavors of diet coke I got so excited that I would finally have something other than water and the few Zevia flavors that I like. Unfortunately I didn’t like most of the flavors but the mango is so good that I think I’ve gone through three eight packs this month.
I hope you liked my favorites this month. Let me know if you love anything from this list or if it inspired you to try something new.
