Shoes are often the part of the outfit that you look at last or leaves the smallest impression, so, I like to have either comfortable basics or more unique shoes that act as the centerpiece of an outfit. Whichever style I choose, I have my go to pairs that are worn way more regularly than any others. Here are a few of my absolute favorites:
Dr. Marten’s 1460 Pascal Virginias
I am a sucker for combat and work boots. Dr. Marten’s is the most well-known company for well made leather boots. I know that vegan options are popular right now but I love the durability and feel of real leather. Who wouldn’t want their boots to last for years? This style of boot comes in 7 different colors and this one is called khaki but it looks very green to me and I can’t resist anything army green.
They are currently on sale here
Forever 21 Combat Over the Knee Boots
I don’t know if other curvy women have the problems with thigh high boots that I do but they always fit my feet and calves then are way too tight on my thighs. These boots DON’T do that. I was so excited when I found them and I can’t stop wearing them. They are so comfortable like wearing leggings and there is no heel so I can walk in them all day but they are also eye-catching. I get the best of both worlds with these boots.

Blue Velvet Booties
Who doesn’t love Target? They have everything from toilet paper to video games to lipstick. These boots are a favorite purchase from them and one of my favorite pairs of shoes. I have been obsessed with crushed velvet all winter and I have a feeling that I won’t be letting it go any time soon which means these have been a staple in my wardrobe.
They are currently sold out but here is a great alternative.
Another purchase from Target are these black patent oxfords that I love for more boyish outfits or the rare occasions when I wear jeans. They are very comfortable but I will say that the laces are pretty annoying and come untied all the time.
You can get yours here.
These are a few of my collection that I love and are either past favorites or ones that are new and quickly making their way to the top of my list.
Black Platforms (Sold Out)
Obviously I am more than obsessed with boots but maybe summer will bring a change to my footwear. I hope you enjoyed this post and maybe even found some new must have shoes.
Thank you so much for reading.
See you Tuesday
