I have been trying to think of ways to integrate music into this blog for a while and today after having this song stuck in my head all morning I have decided to write about the songs that I can’t get rid of, the ones that burn themselves into my mind at the most inconvenient times when all I can think about is listening to or singing it.
My earworm of the day today is not the typical catchy pop song that everyone hates but secretly loves, it is an amazingly beautiful cover of one of my favorite songs. For some reason I really enjoy Ben E. King’s Stand by Me and while rewatching The Following on Netflix I heard a strange version of it by Ki: Theory that turns this great love song into something disturbing. I immediately had to search for it on my phone and add it to my favorite playlist.
It reminds me of when you take pop songs and play them in a minor chord, not quite right but you can’t help listening to it.
I highly recommend this song and if you listen to it or already know it let me know your opinions about this song in the comments. I would love to hear what you guys think. Also let me know if you would like me to continue this series.
Thank you so much for reading.
See you Tuesday
